Pandora means "all gifted" or "all giving" and I am also known as Anesidora which means "she who sends up gifts." Pandora is the first mortal woman created by gods as a punishment to mankind because Zeus was upset at Prometheus for stealing fire from heaven and giving it to mortal men. She existed around the time after the gods defeated the titans and was responsible for many deaths since she was the one who opened a box releasing all the evils out to humanity. She was married to the titan Epimetheus, brother of Prometheus. Her strength is that she evokes strong desire and her weakness was curiosity and deceit. All the gods gave her gifts like Aphrodite gave her the gift of beauty, Athena taught her needlework and weaving for cloths. hermes gave her cunning and boldness, a shamefull mind, power of speech and a deceitful nature.

In Many books, there is a plot and there are many characters in a story that make the plot. Characterization is the explanation of a certain character and how each one effected the story. Many Literary Fiction writers consider Characterization to be the most important element of their art. Commercial fiction may feature an elaborate plot but simple 2-D Characters. Some principles to Characterization is one, consistant characters, two, it is believable, and three is they are plausible and lifelike. A dynamic character is were they undergo a distinct change of character, personality, or outlook. Characterization makes the characters in the book who they are which makes the book entertaining and fun to read.

A Group Think is a group of people thy make an incorrect or deviant decision when there is an overwhelming tension or pressure among them. For example, there is a group of kids that are hungry and
have no resources to feed themselves. One of the group members would suggest an action that the group should go into a store and steal food to feed themselves. The thought is discussed in the group and each have their own opinion, but with pressure and tension from the people who agree with the action, the people who are not are pressured into the deviant decision. On January 28 of 1986, a space shuttle called the challenger exploded on take off and was a big deal because there was a child school teacher on board and the whole nation was watching the disastrous event. From this event, many people think that scientists and N.a.s.a. people knew this event would happen because instead of finishing the space shuttle the correct way, they had rushed to finish it
because of the takeoff deadline. A group think is often known as a deviant decision to the community.

Unlike the nternal Locus Of Control, External locus of control is were you let certain groups and people effect certain events in your life. The Internal Locus Of Control were you control the outcome of a situation, external is the opposite were other people effect that certain event. For example, If there was a very important wrestling meet coming up that had an outcome that you were going to lose, there would be some people that wouldn't be on your side and would say that you are going to lose. Now if you let the outside people effect what is going to happen and you lose that is external locus of control. In my opinion, I think external locus of control could be a bad thing for many events because the only thing that can determine an event in your life is you.

When talking about locus of control, there are two types of controls, internal and external. The definition for the locus of control is the extent to which people believe that they have power over certain events in their lives. Internal Locus of control is where the events that you do in your life is controlled by you and you make certain things happen. For example, if I were to have a wrestling meet in the next month, I would take my time to prepare for it by getting in shape, eating healthy, and learning and preparing for that date. From this example, I controlled the outcome of this event in my life. I think the Internal locus of control is very possible and can be done anytime.

Deviance is simply any violation of society's norms, more formerly known as being different or sometimes weird. Deviance isn't always how a person looks or smells like, but it can often go from violating a simple traffic violation, to committing a crime or murder. Throughout many societies, deviance can be different because each society has its own set of rules or traditional value. For example when a white kid enters a rural part of town or a rich kid brags about his differences to somebody in a poor area that kid would be considered deviant because he is different than society. In my opinion, Deviance isn't necessarily a bad thing because being different doesn't always mean bad, but I think it is the time and place we are all at some point in time. In a short term, we have all been deviant in our own way.

Often times when you watch a movie titled as scary or a horror movie, during that time you will often feel many feelings like your stomach dropping and your heart beat racing wondering what is going to happen next. Many of these feelings are commonly known as the word suspense. Suspense is a state of feeling excited or anxious about what may happen next. Many people across the world often love the feeling of suspense because it gives them a great feeling that makes them excited, scared sometimes, and frightened, and unlike others, many people as well do not like it because of the feeling of them being scared. Suspense can also be in many more things than besides movies or scary books and such, but it can be in everyday life. There is much suspense daily from sports to wars to news or an everyday test in school. Suspense gives you a great feeling in my opinion because it gives you the opportunity to think about things in a different way and outcome. Suspense truly opens your mind to many more possibilities of daily events which gives you a spark of excitement.
